The voice of local people - 1st Monday of the month

All members of the public are entitled to attend the meeting and are cordially invited by the Council to do so. Time will be set aside prior to the published agenda to enable informal discussion to take place.

Great Denham Parish Council was first created in 2007 – so in Parish Council terms we are still a relatively young parish! We have been growing since the late 1990s – an initial 249 houses has now grown to over 1600 homes – and we now have a Primary School, a local Retail centre, a fantastic Community Hall, a Country Park and a Sports Pavilion and sports pitches #loveGreatDenham

Childrens Cinema - 1st Friday of the month

On the First Friday of the month we screen a surprise kids film in our Saxon Hall - join our Facebook page for clues each month about what the movie will be in the week leading up to it's screening!
Entrance is only £1.50 per child (adults and babies are free) and includes Popcorn and a drink. Tables and chairs are laid out but we suggest the children bring cushions, pillows or beanbags to sit in the comfy zone at the front of the hall. The film will start at 3:45pm so make sure you arrive on time. Further refreshments will be available throughout the screening.

Family Fun for Everyone!
Create something crafty with an Eastery twist during one of the daytime craft sessions on the first Tuesday of the school Easter break - see our 'dates for your diary' for exact dates and times. Refreshments will also be on sale so you can sit and relax after your little ones have had fun.

Then come and join the rest of the community on our Eggcellent Easter Egg Hunt! Following the clues to take you on a mini tour of all the fun places to visit in Great Denham! Taking place on the Saturday between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, see our 'dates for your diary' for timings.

Tickets for each event must be purchased in advance and will be on sale closer to the time

The first Saturday in July means its sunglasses and sunshine time at the Summer Sizzler!

With food, stalls, rides, inflatables and fete games, theres always a little something for everyone.

Bring your own picnic blanket and relax in the sunshine to get you in the mood for the summer time vibes!

On the first Saturday in December, come and enjoy all the seasons festivities at our fabulous Winter Festival events!

Lots of stalls and crafts, carols, refreshments, and of course......Santa's Magical Grotto! We also source attractions such as fair ground rides or ice skating rink so keep an eye on our social media pages for more information!
